The City of Wadena presently has an opening on the Planning Commission Board.

Please contact Bradley A. Swenson at the City Administrative Center, 222 2nd St SE, or by calling the City Office at 218-631-7707. Please apply with a letter of Interest and Resume listing past experience. Preference will be given to City of Wadena residents. Appointments are made by the Mayor from the list of those interested. Please submit letter and resume by March 10, 2017.
Wadena Light and Water presented Maslowski Wellness & Research Center a check in the amount of $37,371.81 as part of the Bright Energy Solutions® rebate oprogram. This program encourages energy efficient choices by offering cash incentives for quallifying equipment. The ultimate goal is to help customers like the Wellness Center save money on their electrical usage and help control the use of a valuable resource.
When the Wellness Center was in the planning phase, an interest in energy efficient construction and equipment was expressed and leaders partnered with David Evans at the public utility. Read More
